Welcome to Solar Green Tourism

RENEWABLE ENERGY PROJECTS

Solar Green was formed to identify ideal locations and land for new build Solar PV Photovoltaics roofed projects in East Africa and Africa in general, to develop turnkey projects and transfer the technology to the eventual owners for an Internationally recognized development fee.

Solar Green are giving due diligence to many types of projects in East Africa presently and could be called Social Green Entrepreneurs.

a) A 3,000 metre runway has been identified for restoration to International Standards at Lukoma in Uganda, starting with Phase One and then various funded phases including new build Solar PV roofed Terminal and Logistics buildings.

b) We are evaluating the concept of a Cultural Heritage Village.

c) Middle up-market renewable energy housing estates.

Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda part of the Commonwealth are subject to Climate Change and they must be protected. The operating companies of the projects would be able to sell any excess electricity to the local electrical grid at a profit, thus helping the local area and communities with electricity.

The modern techniques use PV Photovoltaics installations on roofs, Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV), PV glazing systems which produce clean electricity from light magnified by the sun, coupled with the special insulation technology.

The manufacturing companies of solar systems are not developers they are solely concerned with the manufacture and selling of their PV roof system they are dependant on a total turnkey new build project from the solar developer in order achieve sales.

Solar Green provide a vital component with regards tourism related projects in the pre-construction feasibility report, by providing a detailed study and analysis identifying the market and projected data. We have collated much data on produce movements for the proposed Cargo Air Terminal. After many years of research by solar developers it was determined that PV solar installation on old buildings do not work and the only way forward was new build.

There are many benefits to a solar electric system taking into account the expensive capital cost outlay, they include electricity from the PV roof, tremendous energy cost savings and not subject to rising energy prices.

Because of the increasing gravity of global warming the reduction of CO2 pollution is now uppermost in the minds of fuel companies they are constantly up-dating the development the latest energy efficient solar panels for technical information
