Welcome to Solar Green Tourism
RENEWABLE ENERGY PROJECTS
SolarGreenTourism.com was formed to identify ideal locations and land for new build Solar PV Photovoltaics roofed projects then transferring the project © to solar developers and solar architects for an introducer’s fee.
Solar Green Tourism are giving due diligence to three types of projects in Uganda, details are on the web site.
a) A 3,000 metre runway has been identified for a new build Solar PV roofed Cargo Air Terminal.
b) Land viewed for eco renewable housing estates starting with the signature project near Kampala
c) The exciting Luxury Cultural Heritage Villages at Semuto 30 miles north of Kampala creating upmarket tourism.
Uganda part of the Commonwealth must be protected from Climate Change, they also have an energy problem and we at Solar Green Tourism have decided to help Uganda as Social Green Entrepreneurs.
The operating companies of the projects will sell the excess electricity to the local electrical grid at a profit, thus helping the local area and communities with electricity.
The modern techniques use PV Photovoltaics installations on roofs, Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV), PV glazing systems which produce clean electricity from light magnified by the sun coupled with the special insulation technology.
The manufacturing companies of solar systems are not developers they are solely concerned with the manufacture and selling of their PV roof system they are dependant on a total turnkey new build project from the solar developer in order achieve sales.
SolarGreenTourism provide a vital component with regards tourism projects in the pre-construction feasibility report, by providing a detailed study and analysis identifying the market and projected in-flow of visitors. We have collated much data on produce movements for the proposed Solar Cargo Air Terminal and have identified where the passengers will come from for the Luxury Cultural Heritage Villages.
After many years of research by solar developers it was determined that PV solar installation on old buildings does not work and the only alternative was new build.
There are many benefits to a solar electric system taking into account the expensive capital cost outlay, they include electricity from the PV roof, tremendous energy cost savings and not subject to rising energy prices.
The European Union (EU) provide incentives and grants for substantial new build renewable energy tourism projects in Uganda. The European Investment Bank (EIB) www.eib.org, subject to land ownership or lease title as surety plus a feasibility study report they consider financing loans specifically available for Renewable Energy Projects. This funding is insulated from the world’s financial turmoil.
Because of the increasing gravity of global warming the reduction of CO 2 pollution is now uppermost in the minds of fuel companies like BP Solar, Sanyo etc. who are constantly up-dating the development the latest energy efficient solar panels for technical information pleas click on the following web sites. www.bpsolar.com www.sanyo.com/solar www.solar-ark.com
The Eden Project in Cornwall West of England is a good example of the use of Solar. www.edenproject.com
